Tricia Walsh-Smith and Phillip Smith


Tricia Walsh-Smith enters and Phillip Smith leaves Divorce Court in the first round of their divorce proceedings. Phillip the head of the Shubert Organization is attempting to divorce his much younger wife of 25 years. Tricia who aired her complaints against her husband on YouTube has become an internet sensation. The New York Post sums it up here. Don't miss the YouTube video. Its a sight to behold.

Edward Marquette

Edward Marquette the NYC building's inspector makes an appearance in Part F at 100 Centre Street. The case was adjourned to a future date. Marquette looked spiffy in his very Brooks Brother style sport coat, a far cry from his disheveled look after he was arraigned on March 20th. charged with faking a report. A crane he was supposed to inspect later collapsed.

David Ajemian


David Ajemian, "Conan O'Brien's creepy stalker priest got off yesterday with a slap on the wrist. The Catholic priest, who menacingly stalked the carrot-topped TV host from California to New York to Italy, walked out of Manhattan Supreme Court a free man after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge. His punishment: a $95 fine and a promise to behave.

Steven Karvellas

The NY Post reports, "Natural gas trader Steven Karvellas, a Nymex board member from 1996 to 2006, yesterday pleaded guilty to securities fraud and tampering with evidence and agreed to serve five months in jail. He will also pay $850,000 in penalties and fines. The former board member of the New York Mercantile Exchange and six others were busted yesterday for bilking commodity investors out of millions of dollars in a scam that involved bribery and evidence tampering."

John Clifford

The NY Post reports, "Self-appointed Long Island Rail Road etiquette enforcer John Clifford lit a victory cigar outside a Manhattan courthouse yesterday - cleared of charges of harassment, attempted assault, attempted petit larceny and disorderly conduct, despite two days of testimony about his long history of expletive-laced screaming fits against cellphone-yapping fellow commuters."

Dr. Robin Motz


Dr. Robin Motz leaving 100 Centre Street. The January 24th. NY Post reports, "Dr. Robin Motz, who works at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital, was indicted on charges that he scammed his 92-year-old mother out of nearly $1 million dollars - leaving her virtually penniless and on the brink of eviction from her Upper West Side coop. Motz, 64, who used power-of-attorney over his ailing mother's accounts to bilk her out of $832,453, is also being investigated to see if he used his knowledge of and access to prescription drugs to speed her demise, a high-level law-enforcement source said."
